Jenna Williams (she/her)

Young Mayors Program Manager QLD

Based in her hometown of Gimuy/Cairns, Jenna manages the Young Mayors program in Queensland, collaborating with councils, young people and communities to empower young people as decision makers in local government.

Her previous experience includes launching a creative social enterprise for children and young people; working with local councils, physical activity providers and advocacy groups across Victoria to bring VicHealth’s This Girl Can campaign to life; and leading the marketing and engagement team at Footscray Community Arts Centre. In 2014 she received an Ian Potter Travel grant to learn about the engagement of philanthropy and arts to make change in New York neighbourhoods. She is also a graduate of Social Traders ‘The Crunch’ social enterprise program.
