Media Centre

Young people’s perspectives, lived experience, and contributions are essential in the media to keep decision-makers accountable and our systems fair. The Youth Media Centre supports young people and youth-led organisations to use the media as a tool for advocacy.

Whether as a panellist on a current affairs show, or writing op-eds for major daily newspapers, we use a range of strategies to build the capacity of young people to be part of the conversation on key issues affecting our nation.

If you’re a young person or connected to a youth-led organisation who wants to use the media for advocacy and build your skills - reach out to Izzy Tolhurst, Youth Media Centre Lead via 0423 777 904 or the form below.
