Youth Action Project Grant Scheme

Helping provide new and existing youth-led initiatives with grants essential to continue their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is the Youth Action Project Grant Scheme?

The Foundation for Young Australians and the Australian Government Department of Health developed the Youth Action Project Grant Scheme to improve outcomes for young people with a focus on transport, mental health, employment issues, and recovery efforts in response to COVID-19 and the Australian Bushfires.

Grants of between $5000 and $20,000 were allocated to new and existing projects that support young people aged 15 to 24 as they navigate and recover from these ongoing challenges. A total of $16,850,491 was requested at an average of $15,733 per project.
