Rishabh Somani brings a rare combination of professional rigour and lived experience to FYA’s Board. At 23, he serves as a Risk Analyst at Tokio Marine, advising senior leadership on risk appetite frameworks, financial modelling, and strategic governance, responsibilities that reflect the trust placed in young people when organisations genuinely back them.
Educated at the Australian National University in actuarial science and finance, Rishabh has also worked across retail, education, and government, giving him a grounded understanding of the systems young Australians must navigate. Recognised as both Young Citizen of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year by local councils in Sydney, his commitment to community runs deep. He brings to the Board a firm belief that young people don’t need saving, they need backing.
