How history was made – Treaty for Victoria

Wednesday 7 October, 5-6pm (Vic, NSW, ACT, Tas), 4-5pm (Qld), 4:30-5:30pm (SA), 3:30-4:30pm (NT), 2-3pm (WA)

In December 2025, the First Peoples’ Assembly and the State Government of Victoria signed Australia’s first Treaty after negotiations and decades of campaigning and organising.

Come along to hear from Gellung Warl (First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria) elected members and Youth Voice representatives Levi Power and Tarni Morris to hear about how it happened, what Treaty means, the work of Gellung Warl and the role of young people.

With Treaty now under attack in the lead up to the Victorian election, come and find out how you can support and honour this historic step towards justice.

We will email you the event Zoom link once we have received your RSVP. We ask for some personal details in this form. This will be used to share relevant updates about the event and so the presenters know a bit about their audience.
