Kergen Angel (Kerg) grew up on Dja Dja Wurrung and Wurundjeri Countries in Victoria, and currently works on Larrakia Country in the Northern Territory. Kergen is committed to changing governance models which centre communities collaborating in representative decision-making.
Currently, Kergen is setting up the Northern Territory Youth Parliament as well as building local leadership programs that support young people build their capacity for independence through to board-and-community-level decision-making.
Kergen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, is completing his Australian Institute of Company Directors Course accreditation, and was previously a committee chair at the Victorian Youth Congress and a committee member at the Y Australia.
