Banok Rind is a Badimia Yamatji woman from mid-west Western Australia. She is a registered nurse and currently a Senior Policy Officer at the Productivity Commission, informing national policy. Prior to this, Banok was the Senior Policy Advisor at the Lowitja Institute and the Deputy Executive Officer of the Koorie Youth Council.
Banok has extensive experience in advocacy, Aboriginal health and well-being, Indigenous affairs and public/social policy. Banok sits on several governance committees and boards such as board director for First Nations Futures and sits on the steering committee for the Women’s Health Research Translation Network.
