Share Some Good is a collaboration between YouTube: Creators for Change, Vice and FYA that recognises that social media is a powerful tool for spreading both positive and negative messages online.
Young people have the power and creativity to tell inspiring stories. Ones that celebrate the rich diversity in Australia, celebrate difference and foster great things, like acceptance, inclusion and respect.
As part of the Share Some Good campaign, young people from across the country came together for a one day bootcamp at AFTRS Fox Studios where they learnt about using film to shape powerful narratives and tell positive stories online. This was followed by mentoring, workshops and an online toolkit to bring their ideas, messages and stories to life.
The campaign culminated in a screening event held in Sydney. Below is a selection of some of the stories created. You can see all of the videos developed on the Share Some Good YouTube Channel. Watch, enjoy and don’t forget to share some good.
