Innovation Nation in Schools is an in-school enterprise learning program that provides young people with the skills, coaching and seed funding to develop innovative solutions to local community challenges while developing their enterprise and employability skills. The program is designed for Year 10 and 11 students and is facilitated through Western Sydney schools. It is funded by Citi Foundation and delivered by the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA).
Technology, global competition and changing demography are reshaping our economy and work. FYA’s research demonstrates work opportunities for young people will be very different from those available to their parents.
Young people need a portfolio of enterprise skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to successfully navigate and thrive in this new work order. Innovation Nation in Schools is a great opportunity to equip your students with these necessary skills.
