Higher Pathways

Higher Apprenticeships enables young people to undertake a recognised national vocational qualification at Diploma, Advanced Diploma-level or Associate Degree, while fully employed.

Why Higher Pathways?

The world is changing at an unprecedented pace. Automation, globalisation and casualisation are drastically reshaping our economy and work. FYA’s research demonstrates that work opportunities for young people will be very different from previous generations.

There is an urgent need for early intervention while young people are still in school, to help them transition into the jobs of the future. FYA’s Higher Pathways program prepares Year 12 students to access Higher Apprenticeship positions and improves employment opportunities in the future of work.
