As FYA’s Partnerships Manager, Andrew Tangas works with stakeholders across various sectors to build mutually-beneficial partnerships, with young Australians the most important beneficiaries.
An avid policy nerd, Andrew is currently studying a Masters of Social Policy at Melbourne University and is passionate about reshaping the way Australia addresses its most complex and pressing socio-economic challenges.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and Sociology) at La Trobe University, Andrew joined FYA as an intern, before moving into a number of government relations and policy roles.
In 2016, Andrew undertook the year-long Atlas Corps Fellowship in Washington, DC, working and training alongside some of the most talented young social change leaders from across the globe. He is now working to expand the Atlas Corps program around the world.
