Schools throughout Australia are now invited to apply for a Schools First award and be in the running to share in a staggering $5 million of award money.
Award applications are now open and schools are urged to download application forms from www.schoolsfirst.edu.au at their earliest convenience to ensure submissions are completed before the August 14th deadline.
Schools First is a unique and exciting awards program that encourages schools to partner with communities in an effort to take learning beyond the blackboard. Schools need to successfully demonstrate that they are involved in a school – community partnership, or are developing a plan to implement a partnership that improves student outcomes.
