Partnership with Northern Territory DET
New territory in education
FYA and the Northern Territory Department of Education and Training (NT DET) have formed a partnership to inspire and challenge young Territorians. Education and youth leadership programs are focused on improving wellbeing and increasing engagement for young people in the Northern Territory.
This flagship partnership between FYA and the NT DET is already achieving results for over 700 Territory students in around 15 schools. A Young Indigenous Leadership Program is driving our work with Indigenous young people in the NT. From Alice Springs all the way up to Darwin, young people and their teachers are getting a taste of all that FYA has to offer.
