Young People Without Borders

Young People Without Borders (YPWB) creates pathways and opportunities for young Australians to experience and become immersed in our Asian region.

YPWB wants all young Australians to be confident global citizens, and as we move into the “Asian Century”, the role of Asian economies, culture and people are increasingly important.

FYA believes there will be lots of amazing opportunities to be part of this really exciting time in history, but in order to capture those opportunities, young Australians need to know about Asia (the many languages, cultures and histories) and share Australian culture with young people in the region.

YPWB has three programs that give young Australians the opportunity to experience all that modern Asia is, and have a great time doing it.

YPWB Asia Immersion Program

Working with your local council, YPWB offers young people 18-20 the opportunity to live and work in Asia as part of a immersive gap year after high school.

YPWB Roundtables

Our Roundtable program offers the best and brightest young leaders from Australia and the Asian region to connect and discuss the issues important to young people.

YPWB Asia Insights

This program offers young Australian business and social entrepreneurs the chance to travel and experience emerging industries and opportunities in the region.
