Scholarships
Opportunity Scholarships and Opportunity Grants are important elements of Education Foundation’s commitment to empowering young Australians to be successful learners and creative, active and valued citizens. These programs offer students the opportunity to harness their talents and passions in particular field of study, but lead to positive outcomes in many aspects of their lives.
Opportunity Scholarships
Opportunity Scholarships allow students who are experiencing disadvantage to unlock their potential and pursue their talents, goals and dreams.
Scholarships of up to $1000 give students access to the equipment, resources, lessons, programs or activities that they need to mobilise their talents and passions.
Talent areas include the arts, humanities, leadership, languages, maths, science and sport.

Opportunity Grants
Opportunity Grants support groups of students who demonstrate a shared talent or passion. Projects may be led by the students or initiated by a teacher who has identified a group that would benefit from a specific project or program.
Grants of up to $5000 are available for groups of between 8 and 15 students.
