Making Health Global – Listen. Learn. Act.
From 30th August, Australia will play host to a major UN conference focusing on global health and the Millennium Development Goals. The conference, entitled Advance Global Health – Achieve the Millennium Development Goals, brings together more than 300 non-governmental organisations from over 70 countries. Some 1,500 delegates will explore the challenges of meeting the Millennium Development Goals.

Seven thousand young people across Australia have had their say in Tell Us, the country’s biggest national student survey on school education. The survey results, released by The Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) on 12 August reveal that secondary students want a more active role and a greater voice in their schooling.
